Associated Renewable is seeking a Financial Analyst & Corporate Finance Intern. The position commences as an internship and can lead to a full time position.

Associated Renewable is an end-to-end, full service energy consulting & carbon management company in the $300+ billion Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, Cleantech & Sustainability Markets. The firms deploys tailored energy efficiency solutions and leverages renewable energy technologies. Our services allow our clients to cut energy costs, meet regulatory requirements, manage their emission portfolios, deploy the latest technology and reduce their carbon footprint.

The position will provide analytical support across a number of functions, including capital-raising, investor relations, M&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. This position also involves using analysis and modeling to evaluate the energy and environmental commodities market. The role will work with the corporate finance division to prepare financial information for clients, investors and third party financing firms.

• Financial modeling and analysis of business scenarios, corporate financing alternatives, and strategic opportunities

• Developing and monitoring company cash forecasts & investments

• Assisting in preparation of presentations for senior and executive management

• Provide financial reports working with engineering, account management and Request for Proposal teams

• Provide innovate financing options to corporate clients

• Working with Investor relations team dealing with Private Equity, Broker Dealers & Investment Banks

• Assist Renewable Project Development Team with customer qualification, presentation, and financial diligence.

• Participate in discussions with third parties and customers concerning structure, pricing, and risk allocation.

• Participate in the ongoing value verification process and lead documentation of customer financial savings/value provided by the project.

• Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or related degree

• Knowledge of capital markets and general accounting principles

• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation skills, including advanced computer proficiency.

• Knowledge of Energy sector a plus

• Experience in investment banking or corporate finance a plus
