Experienced Care Coordinators in a New York City Hospital seeks Patient Care Director - RN - Inpatient BH
The ideal candidate Qualifications and Experience: MUST have minimally 3 to 5 years prior management experience must demonstrate superior leadership and communication skills. BSN and NYS licensure are required, along with five to seven years' progressive management experience and ACLS certification. Candidates with ANCC psychiatric nursing certification are highly preferred, must have previous inpatient experience. a Master's Degree with Other top academic medical centers from an inpatient setting is sternly preferred . The position responsibilities: The Position is to Manage all aspects of care delivery as Patient Care Director in our psychiatric unit. Direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care while working closely with social workers, activity therapists, psychiatrists and substance abuse counselors to advance a restorative environment. This role assumes front line responsibility for staff performance, quality improvement and fiscal effectiveness. You'll work closely with high profile clinical leaders, in support of Multidisciplinary Grand Rounds and other interdisciplinary initiatives.
