A380 Static Stress Approver

Interested in working as an A380 Static Stress Approver for an Aerospace and Defence Company, this may be the role for you!

As part of the A380 Engineering team you will be helping to maintain the product Aircraft in-service.

As part of a small A380 CPD team provide support to the Static Stress Function (Principle and Senior Engineers). The candidate must be able to work autonomously and provide additional Approval Signatory capability within the team. The role requires various types of stress documentation to be reviewed and signed i.e Stress Dossiers, Tech Reports, Modification Justification Reports etc.

You will be required to perform Static Stress Analysis activities, liaising with the various stakeholders to ensure the success of all potential Airworthiness tasks and potential modifications currently being undertaken.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The delivery of Static Stress Analysis and Documentation to support Airbus project timescales ensuring adherence to quality and schedule deadlines

Person Specification

Proven track record of producing static stress calculations with minimal leadership or supervision
Candidates must have signatory status (ideally on A380).
Ideally have experience using: NASTRAN, PATRAN, ISAMI, Abacus
