Farrington Recruitment are currently looking for anAAT Accountancy Coach to work for one of our prestigious clients.

Our clientdelivers Apprenticeship programmes to companies and organisations throughout North West England and is known for delivering high quality programmes with very high success rates.

Due to expansion they are looking for an experienced accountancy professional to join their team as an Accountancy Apprenticeship coach.

The apprenticeship programmes are delivered at levels 3 & 4 and have been developed by employers and approved by the government. The new apprenticeship standards are proving very popular and include the delivery of the AAT level 3 and 4 Diplomas.

As part of the role you will work with a cohort of up to 40 learners on a one to one basis from different organisations, helping them to develop their accountancy knowledge and skills.
You will coach/mentor them to demonstrate competence against the required knowledge, skills and behaviours of the standard before preparing them for their end-point assessment.

Travel to the employer sites will be required as well as home working and visits to their Manchester Office. The head office is based in central Manchester. The learners will be based within one-hour travel of Manchester.

Essential Role Criteria:

Minimum of 4 years in a varied accountancy role
Excellent time management skills
The ability to communicate and relate to people at all levels
A methodical and organised approach to work
IT literate
Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
Driving license and access to a car

Desirable Role Criteria:

Assessors Award or equivalent
AAT qualified
PGCE or an equivalent teaching or training qualification
Experience of teaching or training people and achieving excellent outcomes
