Account Executive – San Francisco Bay Area



The Account Executive is the primary relationship manager for a number of new clients within a Region. The person is responsible for the profitable sales of Neebo and services including applications, software, platforms, consulting services and support services.  The Account Executive will be assigned to a Sr. Regional Sales Director(s) as a mentor in his/her assigned region.

 



EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:




  • Achieve / exceed new business quota targets by developing a sales and demand generation strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list and a regional territory plan.

  • Manage a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential buyers.

  • Become a trusted advisor by establishing strong relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and future roadmap and commitment to drive business value.

  • Establish and enhances key relationships across each assigned customer’s Business and IT organization. 

  • Effectively advise and influence customers through consultative solution based selling techniques. 

  • Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline. Keep pipeline current and moving up the pipeline curve. 

  • Leverage support organizations including Marketing, Sales Operations, Partners and channels to funnel pipeline into the assigned territory.

  • Advance and close sales opportunities - through the successful execution of the sales strategy.

  • Support all Neebo promotions and events in the territory



WORK EXPERIENCE:




  •  3+ years of experience in sales of complex business software, in progressive inside and direct outside sales role, preferably within the big data, ETL or business intelligence industries, with a deep focus on driving new business.

  • A track record (achieving objectives 75% of career) of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement

  • New business sales focus

  • Experience hitting quota of $1M+ of ARR per year

  • Experience in averaging 5+ face-to-face meetings per week

  • Demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market. 



EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:




  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • A successful candidate should be driven, creative, a self-starter, team player and strategic thinker.

  • Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Business level English: Fluent

  • Local language: Fluent, Business Level
