Shifa Medical Clinic is a family practice clinic located in South Surrey that offers a multitude of clinical services at the discretion of the Physician.
Shifa Medical Clinic currently has 1 vacancy for the position of Medical Administrative Assistant.
This individual will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Schedule and confirm appointments.
2. Complete insurance and other claim forms.
3. Maintain filing system.
4. Perform general clerical work, such as ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory.
5. Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
6. Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review.
7. Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
8. Perform data entry.
Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Completion of a one- or two-year college program or other specialized courses for secretaries or medical secretaries.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Worksite environment: Clinic
Personal suitability: Organized, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral and written communication skills, Team Player
