Avionics Bench Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:



The Avionics Bench Technician’s duties include: Troubleshoot, diagnose, calibrate, overhaul and repair down to the component level a variety of legacy avionics system components for the purpose of ensuring the function and providing the customer with reliable and quality repair.




  • Ensure the quality of work performed meets the manufacturer’s or industry’s specifications

  • Properly handling all parts while in the repair process through the Avionics Shop until work is completed

  • Preserving all units or parts during process through the Avionics Shop until work is completed.

  • Capable of, and experienced in reading, understanding, and following instructions found in technical manuals for the equipment being worked on.



 



Qualifications




  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 60 months legacy avionics bench tech or equivalent experience is required.

  • Formal Electronics training or certification.

  • Capable of, and experienced in reading, understanding, and following instructions found in technical manuals for the equipment being worked on.

  • This position is subject to pre-hire, random, and for cause drug and alcohol testing under DOT and FAA regulations.

  • Lawful US Persons as defined in 22CFR 120.15 for required matters.
