We are looking for a leader with deep functional expertise in Cloud computing to join our team at Artech as an Azure Solutions Architect. In this role you will be responsible for developing cloud reference architectures for various cloud application topologies, including, but not limited to web applications, AI & Client, high availability, analytics, account provisioning/subscriptions, API management, security, disaster recovery, and more.

Key requirements:

• 5 years of experience in all aspects of cloud computing (infrastructure, storage, platforms and data)


• 5 years of experience architecting new solutions, performing cloud migrations


• Application development experience working on native mobile, progressive and hybrid mobile applications—ideally in a e-commerce setting


• Data science tools and data services experience – e.g.. Azure SQL, Databrick and Data Factory


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines including Github Actions and/or Azure DevOps
  
  Deep understanding of the current state of the art for infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, networking, DevOps and cloud-based delivery models


• Hands-on programming experience using C# and ASP.NET Core


• Experience building POCs and demonstrate them to the business users


• 2 years of leading teams of four or more software developers


• Deep expertise in Service and Message-Oriented Architectures using Azure Service Bus


• Highly proficient in Microsoft .NET Core and .NET Framework


• The capability of initiating, organizing and being the champion of complex, development efforts; supervises delivery of other engineers on the team, setting priority, providing guidance, and feedback on deliverables and partnering with vendors to improve delivery model and ensure success.


• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence


• Experience in an environment using Agile and DevOps engineering practices


• Demonstrated experience implementing and managing high capacity, redundant, and mission critical systems

• Experience with Application Hosting: Kubernetes, Web App (w/ Docker for Linux)


• Proficiency with NoSQL data models, storage and programming


• Experience with Stitch

• Experience with Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps pipelines


• Ability to create comprehensive presentations on technical decisions adopted to a business audience.


• Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences


• Azure Architecture Certified, AWS Architect Certified or AWS Architect Certified is a (big) plus.

Educational Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or relatedsoftware engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
