Job Title: Business Development Consultant

We are a professional engineering firm focusing on building simulation models. One of our areas of expertise is to perform engineered cost segregation studies for commercial properties valued at from $1M to $100M. Cost Segregation is the IRS approved method of re-classifying components and improvements of a company’s commercial building from real property to personal property. We are looking for a Business Development Consultant who will market our service to individuals with commercial real estate.

Compensation:

1st year compensation averages between $55,000 to $85,000. 2nd year is well into 6 Figures.

Job Description

Winning new business via cold calling by telephone and face to face visits. Selling Cost Segregation Services to commercial property owners. Meeting and talking to key decision makers.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree Preferred but not required.
4+ years inside or outside sales experience in a business to business environment
Previous sales experience selling commercial real estate, engineering services, accounting services, business financial services or any business related intangible.
Strong presentation, prospecting and closing proficiency.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines.
Develop new business and manage existing business.
Proficient PC Skills.
Documented sales results and/or achievements.
Effective planning and organization skills.
Excellent communication skills.
