Career Resource Specialist - Job Developer

Work Opportunities Unlimited is looking for an energetic sales-focused individual to join our Career Services Team in the Oxon Hill and Clinton areas. The position is responsible for contacting employers in the community to identify job leads, and will assist individuals with barriers to employment in securing employment. This position requires extensive business development activity, including telephone sourcing and face-to-face meetings. This is a part time position with room for growth to full time by growing the caseload and placing clients.

Required skills/experience includes:

• Success in a sales environment, preferably in the sales of a service
• Strong verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills
• Documentation, both written and in a computer database
• The ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with the community
• Experience working with individuals with barriers to employment

Valid drivers license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle is required.
