Overview

The purpose of the D-LINK Sales Specialist is to develop the Exertis D-LINK business through specific campaigns and activity designed in partnership between D-LINK and Exertis. This will be done by bringing alive the D-LINK proposition through the value add services that Exertis offer. Key Performance Indicator in the role is to reactivate non-spending and lapsed accounts, drive better product depth within accounts and increase frequency of trade, achieving call criteria and quality of sales campaign feedback.

Key Responsibilities

* Establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in D-LINK and Exertis sales and commercial functions.

* Account and relationship development of the D-LINK VIP partners by -

* Promote core technologies, specifications and unique selling points of the products into these target accounts
* Promote the tools, partner benefits, training and webinars which D-LINK offer
* Managing a database of call activity and actions into these target accounts
* Monthly feedback to D-LINK and Exertis commercial and sales management as to the progress of these accounts and share any wins and customer feedback

* Work with D-LINK and Exertis BM to agree weekly/monthly call campaigns to include the following -

* Target accounts
* Campaign objective
* Timescale of campaign
* Target contact - Job title or function
* Feedback format
*

* Identify, promote and assist partners that should register to the D-LINK VIP programme
*
* Develop product mix, depth of product and frequency of trade within target list of customers
*
* Demonstrating expert product knowledge and keeping up to date with new technologies, developments in the market
*
* Assist the Exertis sales teams on more detailed solutions and projects, providing product and program expertise
*
* To attend D-LINK office once a month for updates, reviews and training
*
* Demonstrate strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the Group Business Conduct Guidelines

Essential Requirements:

* A proven track record of building relationships in sales or telemarketing role.
* Able to deliver effective and efficient telesales campaigns.
* Able to communicate effectively with key people on a regular basis.
* Proven experience of achievement in a target driven environment.

* A genuine interest in the IT product market with the ability to promote product, brand and Exertis into new and existing Exertis customers.

* Organisation skills - able to plan and prioritise own time and be self-motivated.
* Ability to communicate with and influence key stakeholders, individuals and groups, at all levels.
* Willingness to travel to D-LINK's and Exertis locations to undertake learning and development, account mapping and sales engagement sessions
* Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.

Ideal Requirements:

* Previous Sales Specialist experience
* Willingness to progress professionally into a wider commercial or sales role
* Engaging and credible presentation skills
