Position Description:

This position is primarily responsible for supporting the Client Services department related to data parsing, importing, managing and analyzing of client transitions. Applicant must exhibit a proven ability to organize workload, priorities and complete tasks on time, working effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a resource for executing ad-hoc data requests, custom reports, test scenarios, data migration, data analysis and quality assurance testing in a production environment
Perform SQL queries on MS SQL databases and analyze results
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create innovative business solutions
Provide data processing support for internal business clients
Ensure that data projects are consistently on-scope and on-time
Implement standard processes for formatting and converting electronic data files so that turnaround times are met or exceeded
Seeks to establish and implement process improvements at the direction of the department manager
Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

Minimum of three (3-5) years experience working on complex data analysis projects
Strong knowledge of MS SQL databases, including performance measurement and tuning
Demonstrated knowledge of T-SQL and SSIS; SSRS preferred
Strong data analysis, parsing (XML) and manipulation skills
Experience creating/understanding complex SQL queries/stored procedures is required
Ability to work effectively in situations involving uncertainty, ambiguity or lack of information
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to approach a problem logically and systematically
Ability to express complex technical and abstract concepts effectively both verbally and in writing
Interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of managers and end-users in the organization
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or applicable technical certification
