Working with project staff to coordinate and execute panel testing. Establishing, monitoring, auditing and adjusting fabrication shop order processing and tracking. Provide resources to prepare and issue estimates of the required materials and labor for proposed new work. Included proposed work in shop capacity planning. Job Working Conditions and Environment: This position requires flexible hours and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, involving office and field activities, in order to complete panel / equipment fabrications and field support activities on time and within budget. Employees are often required to work overtime, holidays, weekends and off-shifts to meet project objectives. JOB INTERACTIONS The incumbent reports to the Engineering Manager. The incumbent supervises fabrication shop staff in planning, management and delivery of functional equipment panels and related equipment. The incumbent works with the project manager, design engineers, technicians and other project support groups. The incumbent confers with owners, general contractors and others for progress reporting and problem solving on existing equipment installations and/or developing the requirements for panel fabrication projects and/or products. The incumbent assists others with the identification of new clients, new ways to serve existing clients, client presentations and the development of processes and tools for the creation and execution of projects.
