Under broad supervision, installs, configures, and supports a local area network, wide area network, internet system, computers, desktops and/or mobile devices.

ONSITE REQUIRED FROM DAY 1

Duties include:

- Oversee the SharePoint infrastructure, user access and application deployment
- Plan for and install service packs, hotfixes, updates and patches during off-peak time as required and communicate any downtime to business.
- Support the installation, configuration, security, operation, backup, and maintenance of all SharePoint servers, equipment, and software related to SharePoint infrastructure
- Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to SharePoint based initiatives (migrations, upgrades, third-party solutions, integration with additional enterprise systems, and/or hosted platforms)
- Deploying and managing web applications, site collections and custom solutions.
- Providing technical support of InfoPath forms and SharePoint workflows
- Develop, configure and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections
- Analyze business and system needs and suggest solutions that leverage SharePoint out-of-the-box functionality
- Experience with third-party solutions (ex. Nintex)
- Perform typical system administrative activities such as site creation, user training, backup, restore and issue resolution
- Technical support of InfoPath forms, including communicating the location of form libraries, their purpose and workflows
- Collaborate with other divisions to implement any design or usability changes for accessibility compliance or alignment with the mission
- Maintain and administer SharePoint, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis ensuring high availability of the SharePoint environment
- Perform as the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical expertise to the team in the technologies related to the development and support of an Enterprise SharePoint environment
- Maintain current industry knowledge of development concepts, best practices and procedures for SharePoint solutions.
- Effectively analyze matters and exercise good judgment to achieve IT objectives within specified timetables
- Take ownership of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Responsibilities for all CO supported SharePoint farms
- Assist with special projects as needed including determining requirements; selecting, and implementing new tools and technologies; and designing and developing customer training.
The SharePoint Administrator is also responsible for any other duties as assigned. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for keeping current in the industry, including technology changes, trends and best practices. The incumbent is also responsible for addressing any concerns regarding technical operations with the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- A minimum of 8 years professional experience supporting enterprise Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft SharePoint certification desired Required/Desired Skills
