Looking for a Lead Java/J2EE server-side developer to work on a Core Prime Finance/Brokerage application focused on Collateral Management. This individual will lead the development team comprised of off-shore resources. Candidate needs to a strong developer, but also have investment banking experience, preferably in Risk/Margins and/or Prime Brokerage. Job Specification Knowledge/Experience: Skills: Previous experience of Front Office businesses in the financial industry is essential Knowledge of the Margin or Risk application. Proven track record of successful design and delivery of complex technology systems in a global environment. Candidates will be very experienced in software development with a demonstrated track record in database and application design. - Minimum of6 years of strongsoftware development background - Strong Java, Servlets, and Web Services knowledge J2EE/JSP/Struts/Spring FrameworkXML, Hibernate, Gemfire is aplus. - Experience in Weblogic - Strong RDMBS experience. (Sybase/MS SQL) - Unix, Linux, Windows Server and Scripting skills (Korn shell/PERL) - Real time communications using Tibco EMS, MQ, JMS, MS Messaging - Experience in, or exposure to, workflow management and business process management tools.
