SUMMARY

The JD Edwards Configurable Network Computing (CNC) Administrator is responsible for providing End user support and technical support for the JDE ERP systems installed across all of our client’s business units; the Administrator is involved with supporting the installation of the software and the setup of environments, users, security, distributed processing and data replication;

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Monitoring of JDE Support email (or Issue Tracking and Monitoring systems) from all end and functional users of the ERP installation and provides timely and professional support for all issues submitted;
2. Routing of support issues based on the type of issue to available ERP Solution Delivery functional team members.
3. Provide Citrix support to the clients to enable them to both access and troubleshoot issues they are encountering in the system;
4. Promotes menu and interactive version changes from the test environment to production as requested by functional team members;
5. Monitoring of printer queues in JDE and OS/400 and taking corrective actions as required;
6. Monitoring of JDE jobs queues and noting any long running jobs and taking corrective action after working with functional team members;
7. Creation of JDE default printer definitions as requested or required for clients;
8. Troubleshooting printing issues as related to JDE and other applications;
9. Oracle database support, providing assistance with refreshing of the test environment with Production data. Executing of SQL’s as directed by the functional team;
10. Printer queue maintenance.
11. Provides back up support for security requests;
12. Provide back up support for package deployments and object promotions;
13. Carries out other duties as assigned;
14. Daily monitoring of JDE job queues.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. A technical understanding of the JD Edwards ERP system and the Configurable Computing model within the JDE system;
2. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
3. A technical understand of the Windows desktop operating systems (Win 2000, Win XP) and understanding of LAN topologies and network operating systems is required;
4. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule;
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and / or evening work;
