THE RIGHT STAFF has an excellent Machine Operator opportunity with our client in the North Metro with a solid, reputable company! This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working with breaks, presses, different lines, and various machines.

DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include:

* Handle machine adjustments and material requirements based on job specifications
* Program machine or Input information into the machine for operation.
* Operate a variety of machines while monitoring production and quality of the product.
* Maintain operation to complete product to match predetermined specs/qualifications
* Finished product – removing burrs or sharp edges, ensuring a quality product is completed.
* Riveting and spot-welds work pieces as needed.
* Ability to handle machine maintenance.
* Handles movement and transportation of finished product within the facility while utilizing proper equipment in order to move materials.
* Basic computer skills in order to handle inventory and basic documentation.
* Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

* At least 1 year of previous machine operation experience
* Previous experience operating press breaks, shears, punch presses, and other lines or machines.
* Previous experience working with metal would be IDEAL!
* Must be able to properly measure items. (Ideally previous experience with micrometers and calipers.)
* Must be able to lift/move 50-70 lbs on a regular basis.
* High School diploma or GED Required.
* Ability to read and comprehend instructions, documents and general paperwork relevant to the role.
* Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Basic math skills.
