Digital Payments Risk Management Manager/Director: Top NYC-based financial services firm seeks highly-experienced credit risk strategist with extensive experience in digital payment platforms to manage underwriting/onboarding, account monitoring, and collections in the digital payment space.

Responsibilities:
• Strategy development: Develop solutions/policies to manage risk while enabling business growth and balancing user experience
• Data, Rules & Algorithm development: Identify and leverage all available traditional and new digital data sources to generate rules and algorithms to manage and monitor fraud, credit and disputes risk in the merchant portfolio
• Process & Governance: Develop policies and procedures to manage risk, through risk managers and operations team
• Systems & Capabilities: Conceptualize, design and lead execution of risk capabilities

Requirements:
• Background in managing risk for a digital payments provider is required
• Passion and deep knowledge of the emerging space of digital commerce industry and technology
• Experience in analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets is a strong plus
• Experience in developing risk strategies using 'big data', Hadoop, APIs and similar other digital tools is a plus
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• Proven people leadership
• Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint is required. Experience with JAVA, SAS, and/or SQL is a strong plus

Salary: up to $135k
