Job Description

•Prepare, review, and file SEC financial filings, including EDGARization of annual 10-K, and quarterly 10-Qs, footnotes to the financial statements and Management Discussion and Analysis. •Monitor and assess the impact of FASB, EITF and SEC newly released financial accounting statements and pronouncements and assist in the corporate implementation. •Coordinate with the Legal, Treasury, and Public Relations Departments for other SEC filings (8K, S-4). •Must interface with Company's Executive Management, outside public accountants, Internal Accounting, Treasury, Planning and Analysis, and Legal Departments on an as needed basis. •Manage Sarbanes Oxley compliance for Financial Reporting controls assessment and remediation. •Supervise staff and senior accountants. •Draft and review accounting policies and procedures.


Qualifications
Mandatory minimum qualifications - •BA or BS degree in Accounting •MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus •CPA required •Approximately 6 years of financial reporting and SEC experience, with at least 3 years of public accounting/Big 4 public accounting and 4 years "hands on" experience in a corporate environment •Strong technical accounting experience in a public company •Superior knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, current accounting issues and trends •Proven problem solving and analytical abilities along with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Word •Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills •Able to work in a fast-paced environment
