Job Description

Under general supervision, determines the most cost effective processes, methods, systems, tooling, equipment and plant layout to be used in the manufacturing of company products. Evaluates labor and operating costs for compliance with standards and stated cost objectives. Develops short and long term manufacturing strategies and capital requirements, and actively participates in the development and introduction of new products. Under minimal supervision, supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in Manufacturing Engineering.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology or a related technical field. 10+ years Manufacturing engineering experience. 5+ years experience managing people. Experience in personally programming welding robots and laser cutters. Experience in management of facilities layout and maintenance. Tooling design experience. Experience with World Class Manufacturing techniques such as J.I.T., Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Kanban, Manufacturing Cells, etc.
