Marketing Analyst - (US-CA-Torrance - 90510) Minimum Education: None Jobcode: J3G8FD6NY5CRP11YG34 Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online Department: Marketing * Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate HealthCare Partners' (HCP) commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care, and concern with each and every internal and external customer. * Collects, analyzes and reports on a variety of departmental and company-wide data to assist the Marketing and Communication Departments in evaluating the effectiveness of communications, sales, and marketing initiatives and departmental goals, including but not limited to health plan transitions, lead generation and conversions, events evaluation, employer group efforts, direct mail programs, new product introductions, and print, public relations, and media measures. * Develops report and database specifications, obtains appropriate data and compiles reports for other customers to help them assess their marketing initiatives or provide customized results reports. * Develop production level enterprise reporting applications * Researches and collects industry news and trends. Reports findings to Manager, Marketing, and Director, Communications and Marketing. * Serves as coordinator and manager of data and reports. * Tracks, maintains, and updates documentation according to department policies and procedures. * Analyzes, tracks, and trends communications and marketing departmental reports (i.e., events reports, activities reports, media measures, ROI, etc.) and uses reports to identify deficiencies and/or opportunities for improvement. * Provides insights into business through analysis of sales activity to drive greater membership, efficiency, and patient satisfaction * Proofreads and fact-checks all reports issued from the marketing department. * Develops documentation, policies and procedures to support ongoing maintenance and upkeep of measures and reports. * Thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements * Produces other departmental and ad hoc reports as needed. * Uses, protects, and discloses HCP patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards. * Performs additional duties as assigned. EDUCATION: * Bachelor's degree required * Master's degree preferred * Microsoft Access or SQL certifications preferred EXPERIENCE: Minimum: * Over 3 years and up to and including 5 years of experience. * Over 3 years experience in data gathering and analysis. * Graphical software experience. * MS Access Preferred: * Experience with one or more report writing tools including DBMS, Crystal Reports, and SQL.
