Vice President, Marketing

Our client, a premier full-service national credit union with over 65,00 members, located in the La Crosse, WI area, is seeking a proactive, self-motivated Vice President, Marketing to be responsible for defining the overall strategic marketing focus and management of the marketing department.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ten or more years of progressive management level marketing/business development experience in a related credit union, banking, brokerage or insurance industry or other highly regulated industry.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Strong strategic direction/planning and prospecting skills with the ability to research new markets and identify new customers and product applications
• Demonstrable negotiating experience relative to pricing and terms, given the market conditions and project
• Proven success developing and leading a team of marketing professionals, including previous responsibility for personnel administration, mentoring and staff development, with an emphasis on supporting the business requirements of the organization
• Management and relationship/partnership building success related to building trust, improving processes and measuring results in conjunction with other senior management team members
• “Innovative” leader with the energy, excitement and interest to work in a fast-paced and successful environment with an aggressive growth strategy
• Able to work effectively with, and enhance communications and collaboration of staff, managers and Board Members with robust and diverse opinion, outlooks and working styles
• Superior communication and presentation skills; both verbal and written
• Self-motivated leader able to set goals, establish priorities, meet deadlines and achieve both short and long term strategic and operational results

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
