POSITION SUMMARY: A professional care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, providing care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members. The RN will be responsible for meeting the standards required by AACN, JCAHO, GMC, and other regulating agencies for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the unit. The RN will process information in the Center's computer and information system as required in performing job responsibilities.

Experience: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina. Minimum one year experience as an RN. BCLS certification. Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing appropriate to the practice setting.
