Candidate will have at least two years of experience with software development and web application testing. Strong knowledge and experience in all the phases of SDLC. Strong knowledge and experience in white box (Unit) testing. Ability to communicate at both business and technical levels with the stakeholders and developers involved. Experience in Web development, Object oriented programming and databases. Prior programming experience in C# and building web applications preferred. Good experience using Automation tools like Selenium and Watin.
Proficiency in creating test strategy, test plan and test cases for complex domain models such as workflow oriented, data migration and web-based applications. Experience building automated test frameworks based on manual test scripts. Experience working in a Agile environment preferred. Must possess sharp analytical and excellent communication skills

Functional Responsibility:
- Work with Business Analysts, Software Development and Mock-up teams on a day to day basis to perform requirement, technical and functional impact analysis.
- Identify testable requirements and prepare test strategy for each of the testing types identified.
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans and automated test scripts for functional, regression and load testing
- Create and maintain manual test scripts and automate them using open source test frameworks like Selenium (IDE and RC), Watin (IDE and RC), WebDriver
- Assist in post production support-such as end-users support; troubleshooting of issues on relevant production like environments
Work Experience
Minimum/General Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related discipline
- An advanced degree in communications, computer science, or related discipline may be substituted for two years of experience
