Responsibilities:A TQA Analyst is responsible for testing new applications, application upgrades, interfaces and customizations as specified by requirements taken from the Joint Requirements Document, for performance and quality assurance. Ensures that critical software is quality tested and meets all business requirements and is measured for the ability to pass all required test conditions with acceptable performance prior to being placed into production. A TQA Analyst executes regression and functional tests and records results and defects. Query databases and validate data using SQL, TOAD or other database query tools. Uses and enforces the use of standard testing tool to maintain the consistency in testing methodologies and deliveries. Provides clear and concise status reports on testing progress, defect and scripting metrics using a standard testing tool. Analyzes information system requirements, and prepares test plans, test cases, test scripts and other documentation by utilizing DISH specified tools and methodologies. Estimates level of effort to test a particular project/enhancement. Requires good organizational skills, a strong desire for quality, and an attention to detail with an ability to take work direction and to communicate effectively. Requirements: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two plus years of system testing. Skills & Qualifications Strong analytical skills required. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work autonomously. Strong desire to succeed and contribute individually and as a member of a team. Able to write reports/correspondence/procedure manuals, and present information and respond to questions from managers/customers/general public. Additionally, CMMI, Six Sigma, software testing certs or training are desirable. Knowledge of a testing tool such as Mercury/HP Quality Center is desirable. .
