Main Duties:



-          Creating and maintaining the Bill of Materials (standard list of ingredients) and Procedures for each item produced by the Company



-          Obtaining approval for each Bill of Materials and Procedure and keeping them in a secure and accessible place. 



-          Establishing and ensuring the execution of the parameters and procedures of quality control for each raw and packaging material at:



1-      The point of reception



2-      During the time the material is stored in the warehouse



3-      When the material is transferred to production



-          Establishing and ensuring the execution of the parameters and procedures of quality control for each product during the production process, including:



1-      Pre-processing: intermediate items



2-      Filling process



3-      Capping process



4-      Labeling process



5-      Other identified points according to standards



6-      End of production line



7-      Palletizing process



8-      Time during which finished items are stored in the warehouse



-          Analyzing, responding to, and resolving any complaints regarding the quality of the products manufactured by the Company, and ensuring that the problem is resolved so that it does not continue to occur.



-          Keeping samples of quality control executed in a proper place and during the time required by law for any government inspection. 



-          Stopping any production process that is observed not to meet the quality control standards and procedures established.  Documenting each case and ensuring that the proper steps are taken to fix the problems/deficiencies. 



-          Removing from operation any finished item that does not meet the parameters of quality control established. 



-          Receiving new product requests:



1-      Requests for a new item must have attached an evaluation of the market for the product, giving the company an idea of the possible success of the item regarding sales volume, pricing, customers, etc.



2-      All new items must follow the established quality control standards



-          Maintaining a HACCP written program for each item, existing and new.  Reviewing and updating the plan whenever there are changes in the products.



-          Maintaining compliance with the laws of the United States of America.



Requirements:



-          Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or equivalent.



-          (5) Five year’s experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment.



-          Strong working knowledge and understanding of FDA and Government Regulations



-          Basic knowledge of the operation of the equipment and the flow of material throughout the plant.



-          Detail-oriented.



-          Excellent computer skills. Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.



-          Proven leadership abilities.



-          Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.



-          Must have excellent time-management skills.



-          Knowledge of measuring instruments.



-          Required to spend approximately 70% of time on production floor and 30% in office.
