We have an immediate need for a full-time day shift Quality Assurance Inspector:



The Quality Assurance Inspector candidate will perform receiving inspection on mechanical, optical and electronic parts (including PCBs, and cable assemblies) and in-process, final and shipping inspections on electro-mechanical assemblies used in the semiconductor industry.

The candidate will implement quality management system procedures, work instructions and sampling plans to perform the job function.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the calibration of measurement and test equipment

Skills/Experience:



High school diploma or equivalent

3 - 5 years experience in Quality Assurance Inspection in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment (e.g. semiconductor or telecom preferred).

English language proficient – oral, reading and writing

The position prefers skill in interpretation and usage of Engineering Design Drawings and Specifications, Bills of Materials, Supplier Datasheets and Certificates of Compliance, Box Build and Engineering Change Notices.

The position requires knowledge of processes for handling, containment and processing of non-conforming product.

Experience with dimensional inspection using metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, pin gauges, etc.). Familiarity with usage of Coordinate Measuring Machines. CMM training will be provided.

Ability to comprehend and use engineering design documentation (drawings, specifications,BOMs, work instructions, etc.).

Skill usingPCs, Microsoft Office Suite and data entry are a must

Skilled with and / or certified in the application of the IPC workmanship standards (IPC-610 andIPC-620).

The candidate will implement quality management system procedures, work instructions and sampling plans to perform the job function.
