The successful candidate will have a well rounded meat background to include packaging and process. A MS degree is required. Experience with seasonings and savory a plus. This position may be either a manager or directors position depending on the candidate hired. This person reports to the VP of Meat and Poultry Technologies. The successful candidate will have a well rounded meat background to include packaging and process. A MS degree is required. Experience with seasonings and savory a plus. There will be 6 to 10 people in the department. Bonus will be in the 10 to 15% range. They will be responsible for development of new value added meat products (snack products), modification of existing products, development of new technologies that would result in competitive differentiation, new customers, and expanded markets.
