Our client company is seeking an experienced Scientist to investigate and develop new nylon-based resins to improve and grow their current product portfolio and support expansion into new application spaces.
You must be willing to:
Synthesize new molecules/scale up new concepts from bench to pilot plant scale/support the transition to commercial production
Collaborate with the Commercial/Application Development groups to understand market needs for new products
Work closely with other scientists/applications specialists/ technicians to develop new products & technology platforms
Collaborate to solve complex manufacturing/customer issues
Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY)
PhD in polymer chemistry/polymer science or material science with
1-5+ years industrial experience (15 years preferred)
Track record of developing/commercializing new polymer materials
Deep understanding of polymer structure/property relationship & modification of properties through polymer synthesis
Familiarity with IP processes/patent filing
Strong drive/execution focus to manage project milestones/timelines/resources
