Please provide resumes for the following position for Safety Engineer.

This will be for approx. a 3-6 month assignment, full time at Plymouth on the 9-80 work week.



Qualifications for a Safety Engineer

? Experienced with MIL-STD-882 safety process;

? Possess product development engineering skills and sound engineering judgment relating to product safety;

? Possess good communication skills to interface with peer engineering staff;

? Able to present technical information in written and oral form with clarity;

? Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Word, and Excel;

? Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

? The successful candidate will be required to devise and perform the following tasks:

? Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) and Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA);

? Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA);

? System Safety Assessments (SSA);

? Software Safety Analysis;

? Fault Tree Analyses (FTA);

? Develop safety documentation and presentation materials for safety review board meetings

Experience Required

Candidate shall have 5+ years of relevant experience in system safety engineering on DoD development programs.



Education

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. Degree, or higher, in Aerospace Engineering, System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
