Marketing: Develop growth strategies based on market analysis and competitive assessment, and in conjunction with the product management team execute the growth plan. Demonstrated knowledge of the 4 P's, including business case/value proposition development is essential in this position

* Lead the Growth Playbook (3 Year Growth Plan).

* Enable the integration of Power Delivery products into Intelligent Grid program.

* Establish/manage strategic partner relationships to support the growth plan.

* Support M&A activities, including JV, partnerships, IP purchase, brand labeling.

* Plan & execute of marketing tactics including industry and GE events, web contents, customer presentations and marketing campaigns.

* Establish thought leadership; white papers, industry event presentations and participation in industry related committee.

New Product Introduction (NPI): Manage new product development programs, including the creation of product requirements based on VOC/VOM, and lockstep with technology manage the execution of the programs from inception to product release

* Manage NPI lifecycle.

* Develop business case.

* Develop buy versus develop strategies.

* Conduct VOC/VOM.

* Create product requirement documents.

* Develop & execute commercialization plans.

Commercial Activities: Provide support to the commercial teams

* Execute market segmentation analysis.

* Develop sales tools and training material.

* Provide sales support; Channel & Partner development.

* Develop boilerplates for bids & proposals.

* Drive GE to GE business strategies.

* Establish/nurture key/target customer relationships.
Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Marketing.

* Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Electric T&D Industry, in the Automation segment.

* Minimum of 8 years of marketing or product management experience.

General

As a direct report to the GM Marketing for the T&D business and lock-step with the other Segment Leaders, the T&D Automaton Marketing Segment Leader will own and drive the marketing activities related to GE's Automation Products & Services market segment. Key Product lines include IED's, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Distribution Management Systems (DMS) and Outage Management System (OMS) applications.
