Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with experience in the market research field for a full-time position in our Data Tabulation Department. Responsibilities will include creation of data tables, writing tab specs, data cleaning/editing, recoding, weighting and statistical testing. Please note that this is not IT, MIS or programming. Experience with paper questionnaires is required. Knowledge/experience with any data tabulation software package will be a plus (Wincross, SPSS Quantum, Uncle, Microtab, etc.). MS Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) is required.

• Candidate should be organized, able to multi-task in high-pressure situations, and capable of communicating clearly with internal team members.
• Proven ability to take responsibility, think analytically & communicate clearly
• A College Degree
• Must be a resident of the New York metropolitan area. Job requires daily presence in the office.
• Classes in the following subjects/areas will be a plus: Statistics, Managerial Statistics, Statistics for Research, Statistics for Social Work, Computing for Statistics
