Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop, upgrade, and maintain the baseline image for tactical PC workstations that reside on the I Corps coalition enclave
• Design, configure and install Global Command and Control System (GCCS-A/J/K/I3/T) (Army / Joint / Korea / Integration Imagery and Intelligence / Top Secret), and C2PC Gateways
• Maintain the Common Operating Picture (COP) in support of I Corps operational deployments and exercises
• Provide GCCS related documentation including current systems architecture, network diagrams, data flow, and message threads
• Interface with Federal Agencies, GCCS Program Managers (PMs), relevant Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) PMs, Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (ADOCS) POCs, and commercial vendors as required to maintain the most current equipment (hardware, software and firmware) architecture and configuration necessary to support I Corps and interoperate with other DoD agencies and systems in the Pacific Theater
• Establish relationships with providers that enable I Corps to procure equipment and gain the required knowledge to maintain a relevant architecture to provide a fully integrated Common Operating Picture (COP).
• Monitor implementation of GCCS-A/GCCS-J systems on two separate classified networks in garrison and deployed environments. Analyze collected data and lessons learned and make recommendations on GCCS architecture and configuration improvements for current and future deployments and exercises
• Prepare written memorandums (IAW AR 25-50), reports, and orders in accordance with Army regulations and policies
• Provide training to prepare Soldiers in to prepare Soldiers in configuring/using GCCS and C2PC
• Coordinate required training events and labs with leadership and provide reference materials to trainees
• Coordinate and prepare written memorandums, reports, and orders in accordance with Army regulations and policies
