Tax Preparer We are currently partnering with a reputable client in Oklahoma City who is seeking a skilled Tax Preparation Specialist to join their team. As a Tax Preparer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients with their tax preparation needs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely filing. Your expertise and professionalism will help our clients navigate complex tax regulations while optimizing their financial outcomes. Responsibilities of the Tax Preparer
- Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough reviews of clients' financial documents to ensure all relevant information is gathered for tax preparation.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
- Identify potential tax credits, deductions, and exemptions that may benefit clients and maximize their tax savings.
- Assist clients in resolving any tax-related inquiries or concerns.
- Conduct research on complex tax issues to provide expert advice and recommendations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices in tax preparation.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all client information.
Qualifications of the Tax Preparer
- Proven experience in tax preparation, preferably within an accounting firm or similar environment.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, TaxAct, Drake Tax) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Compensation of the Tax Preparer
- $40-50k dependent on experience
