Responsibilities:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:


•Work with Product Management to develop strategy and product Requirements

•R&D and concept development for new products

•Gather design requirements from business stakeholders

•Create interaction design for complex web-based applications

•Create UI wireframes, IA and flow diagrams based on business requirements

•Create visual design for complex web-based applications, based upon UI/IA design specs

•Create thorough, detailed documentation for Interaction and visual designs

•Assist in Quality Assurance testing for user interface elements

Qualifications:


•3+ years experience in Web/UI design and electronic marketing design

•Strong User Interface design skills (Interaction design & Visual
design), and experience in designing web-based applications (e commerce, interactive tools, etc.)

•Knowledge of HTML, XHTML, AJAX, CSS and W3C standards (no actual coding will be required)

•Experience designing for PDF/print display a plus

•Proficient in latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

•Experience designing and implementing usability studies
•Strong leadership skills

•Strong documentation and communication skills

•Excellent organizational and presentation skills

•Experience working in teams with other designers, software developers, and business stakeholders

•Other software development experience (Product Management, Systems Analysis, Development) a plus

•BA/BS/BFA in Design, Information Architecture, or related fields (extensive experience may override this requirement)
