Corporate Director of Claims

SUMMARY:
Corporate Director of Claims is responsible for the oversight of general liability, auto and workers compensation claims for the companies operations located in over 40 states. Your focus will be to mitigate the corporations overall claims costs by effectively managing all sectors of the claim process. The Director will be responsible for the implementation and management of claim programs and best practices within a fast-paced, fluid environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance claim professional to be part of a large corporate risk management environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years commercial claims experience within a carrier, TPA or corporate environment.
- Strong technical background in workers compensation and general liability.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing claim programs and best practices.
- Superior communication and relationship management skills. Detail oriented.
- Current knowledge of federal and state laws governing worker's compensation and related issues is also needed. This is a hands-on position requiring an individual able to work both tactically and strategically.
- Claim experience within a multi-location/state retail or hospitality environment is preferred.
- ARM or AIC a plus
