     Versant is a Penske led company that specializes in logistics, staffing, and distribution.

     Vice President of Business Development  V A new position established to utilize my manufacturing and
      elevator skills to aid in logistics and distribution with first year annualized sales of $5M.

 Hired specifically to establish a manufacturing base for logistics and distribution. Responsible for international, domestic, intermodal, and LTL distribution of materials for companies such as Electrolux, Mitsubishi, and ThyssenKrupp while integrating systems such as Oracle, SAP, and Red Prairie.


THYSSENKRUPP ELEVATOR, Memphis, TN K K K K K K K K K K K K K K K K K K.2001-2012
     ThyssenKrupp Elevator is 3rd largest elevator company in the world and the largest in North America.

    Vice President ThyssenKrupp  - Managed the Parts Department and Parts Warehouse ($30M sales annually with      approximately 3500 orders/month and developed and implemented on-line ordering site. 54% of orders are overnight.
     Reduced back orders from 8.2% to 1.6%.

    Director of Business Development - Built a record of efficiency, organization, and world class client relations in      working with new business and customer loyalty. Worked with other ThyssenKrupp companies and reduced their cost      by bringing their manufacturing to ThyssenKrupp Elevator.

    General Manager-Vertical Express  V Sold parts, modernization, and new equipment to independent elevator          companies. Sales increased from $14M per year to $28M per year in a 2 year period. Profit increased from $5.5M per       year to $10.2M per year.

    Commodity Manager Steel Products  V Developed and implemented procurement procedures and introduced
     new products with a savings of $25M over 5 years. Reduced material cost of sales from 62% to 54%.

*	Developed, implemented, and maintain Executive KPI Dashboard which includes call center report, weekly / monthly order counts and order revenues.
*	Provided efficient and timely resolution of a range of customer inquiries.
*	Processed and input customer orders as well as checked for product availability.
*	Increased the customer experience by providing information on new products, rate plans and services through up selling opportunities.




  Directly responsible for $250M worth of raw materials and in charge of procurement for 7 ThyssenKrupp manufacturing locations across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Set up 2 greenfield operation and closed down one factory in Mexico. Direct reports ranged from 250 to 1100 depending on manufacturing needs. Part of my responsibility was procurement of factory machinery including the largest Salvagnini line in the world including 5 powder coat paint booths, 3 lasers, and a stacking system that would hold 2.6M lbs of various steel products and gauges. Bearings, castings, specialty bar and tubing, stainless, plastics, electronics, and aluminum were several of my specialty commodities. Responsible for material and job scheduling shipping approximately $45M per month.

    Account Executive - Developed and implemented daily and weekly sales support plans to support new business
    Director of Quality and Safety  V Developed a Quality Department to meet the needs of appliance manufacturers      and achieved ISO Certification.

*	Actively involved in all phases of territory development, product representation, and account relations enhancement with Executive-Level professionals.
*	Key to success was to design and implement sales-based solutions that created a sense of importance between customers and NISCO Steel Corporation.
 x	Developed and implemented Quality Department for Japanese based company.
 x	Achieved ISO 9000 certification and implementation.

Hired specifically to increase presence at Dover Elevator. Introduced a master plan to reduce cost at Dover Elevator by reducing scrap by 25%, gauge reduction of metal parts, engineered metal alloy alternatives, consulted on new plant layout that added 50,000 sft. of capacity. The reward was a contract of an additional $12M per year for NISCO.

     inventory management.

    Outside Sales  V Instrumental in new customer development and maintaining of existing customers thru JIT
    programs and national account programs.

Initiated JIT inventory programs, scrap reduction projects, alternate material engineer projects for companies such as Whirlpool, Sharp Mfg, MTD lawn equipment, Emerson Electric, HON office equipment, Lennox, Carrier, Dover Elevator, and various other large and small companies.

CNC machine operator specializing in tool and die work including manufacturing of cams for various machines. Other machines operated included Cincinnati lasers, LeBlonde lathes, Verson presses, roll formers. CTL lines, and MIG and TIG welding.
