I am interested in using all of my qualifications and remaining in mortgage operations. I
have previously worked from home and in the office and would be adaptable to either
situation.

underwriting, leadership of underwriting, and currently having 13 team members reporting to me.

Underwriting. Manager for 13 underwriters. Review and distribute work loads,
perform annual reviews and ensure that the team is meeting the required service
level agreements.
8/2008-8/2009 Wachovia, Jacksonville, FL -Manager Worked as a manager on FHA
Secure project and as such was an escalation point for underwriters. Served as a
resource to junior underwriters. Compliance underwriting per Wachovia guidelines
specific to this project. Responsible for reviewing collateral, income, assets and credit
on high risk refer loans as a second review for underwriters.
4/2006-7/2008 Bank of America, Jacksonville, FI -Sr. Mortgage Underwriter/Team
Lead. One of the senior underwriters that opened the government loan center. Reviewed
files for junior underwriters working towards DE and VA delegations. Lending
authority of $750,000 for all government loans. Completed mostly manual loans with
complex credit or income. Remote underwriter 3 days a week.
8/2005-3/2006 Coastal Capital, Ponte Vedra, FL.-Sr. Mortgage Underwriter.
Responsible for reviewing and approving complex conforming loans for wholesale
division. Worked directly with Brokers and provided guidance on underwriting
guidelines. Company closed Florida office due to downsizing.
1/2004-5/2005 Countrywide Mortgage, Thousand Oaks, CA.-Sr. Quality Control
Underwriter.Performed QC audits on all loan types. Ensured data integrity and reported
any fraudulent issues. Completed reports with missing data or issues not meeting criteria
for loan type. Reviewed for borrower credibility and occupancy issues. Completed
analysis of files with communication to management of deficiencies found.
6/1998-10/2003 Columbia National Mortgage, Norfolk, VA.-Sr. Mortgage Underwriter/
Team Lead. Team lead over 11 reports in the department. Responsible for VA, FHA and
Conventional loans. Pipeline management for 11 underwriters. Communicated loan
decisions, conditions and/or counteroffers. Completion of annual reviews for the
members on my team. Point of escalation for underwriters needing assistance on manual
loans.
EDUCATION
First Colonial High School, Virginia Beach, VA finishing as an Honor Graduate. Main focus of
studying being in business courses. Since then I have attended many seminars and workshops
relating to the mortgage industry and management of same. I obtained my VA SAR delegation
and DE delegation in 1998. I am always interested in taking updated classes offered by HUD or
VA and anything related to fraud or quality control. Receive continual updates on FNMA/
FHLMC Selling Guides and release notes. I have passed the NMLS exam and also have the
CRU delegation from the MBA.
