PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & INTERNSHIP
	Lifenet Health, Virginia Beach VA, Summer 2015
R& D Intern- Product Development Team
Used SolidWorks to compose 3-D models to assist design engineers in developing and modifying new and existing equipment. Performed model prototype testing and Finite Element Analysis (FEA), using the Solidworks simulation of existing product designs to demonstrate design effectiveness. Created technical drawings and Requested quotations for designed parts manufacture.
Key Accomplishments:
Reduced the cycle time of one of the tissue processing equipment by approximately 50% by modifying the existing design of the equipment

	Automotive Research Association of India, Pune, India 2013-2014
Research Trainee-Structural Dynamics Laboratory -
Conducted experimentation on test rig using strain gauges. Determined tensions at four different positions on a connecting rod subjected to four different loads. Compared test outcomes with Finite Element Analysis to evaluate errors. Learned to use FEA software and Ansys Workbench for linear analysis.
Key Accomplishments:
 	Scored 92% on the project.
Established a benchmark for allowable/expected error between Experimental and FEA results of strain measurement.

	Ideal Gas Springs, India 2012-2013
Intern
Internship helped develop aptitude in implementation of 5S methodology and single flow lean manufacturing.
