I am a field engineer, with over 9 years of experience in
telecommunications. I am
always looking to further my experience and success in the field around

lacing chord
cable forming and dressing, and securing via switch-room standards.
de-installing de-commissioned equipment: removing all transmission
cables(fiber optic/ethernet), removing all DC power cables back to breaker
panel completely
Removal of electrostatic sensitive data cards and proper shipping and
handling for return to vendor
Locate all termination points of assignment and properly apply labeling to
fiber cable ends.
Removal of de-commissioned fiber optic/ethernet/power cables from
overhead management racks

Mobility
Retrieve equipment for sites daily from storage facility/ procure UPS
shipping return label, print and deliver removed equipment to UPS for
return to AT&T. Scanned customer specific serial numbers to special AT&T
asset tracking application upon equipment installation/removal.
Travel to remote cell site locations, log-in through appropriate customer
channels. Take photos of pre-exisitng site conditions before work.
Install new hardware in rack mounted equipment settings. Run and
terminate power cables in the -48vDC/+24vAC power bay in accordance
with quality standards.Run and terminate transport cables to newly
installed nodes from transport routers. Adequate labeling of new
equipment/configurations completed every site.
Commission and integrate site with help of remote support to bring site
off/on air.
Troubleshooting and resolution of all new issues or alarms that were not
pre-exisiting, within scope.
