Responsible for oversight and execution of key deliverables for future and current products. This hands-on role
encompassed translating business needs in to design and finished product by detailed planning, coordination of
activities with internal resources, process partners, suppliers and execution of tasks on tight deadlines. As a project
manager tracking and communicating the progress against timelines to all the stakeholders.

         cylinders on time, below cost targets and improved quality to internal customers.
     Identified and led resourcing of large cylinders in phases from Sumter, SC to another internal manufacturing
         facility in China, resulting a cost reduction of $1.2 million per year.
     Mentored junior off shore staff to bring them up to speed on various sourcing and manufacturing activities and

     Collaborate with accounting, purchasing and supply chain team to evaluate landed material cost quotations
         keeping in mind of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concept for cylinder and components.
     Assumed responsibilities as a go-to engineer in the development of Casting and Forging should cost models in
         aPriori which benefited the company upfront to optimize cost before production release.
     Managed manufacturing activities to implement validation plan, review control plan, work break down
         structure, guide supply chain personal, inventory Optimization, and ensured that the team is 100% ready at
         each gate review through run at rate.
     Managed sourcing and inventory optimization projects that required gathering the requisite data, analyzing the

    Managed consultants and direct report as a global team lead to integrate the next generation of Telematics on
        all current production and new product introduction (NPI) machines, successfully commonized the hard ware
        and electrical components across the multi generation of cabs.
    Led the design and development of operator station and Rollover protection structure (ROPS) for Wheel
        loaders, Motor graders, Scrappers and other machines from inception to production to provide cabs for Tier
        Four Final compliant machines.
    Initiated the concept design and development of split Rollover protection structure for Motor grader in a tight
        schedule for US army, Navy, and Marine Core. Resulting to acquire multi-million-dollar contract from US
        army and deliver cabs for production machines on time as per customer requirement.
    Concurrent product development with the modeling team. Ensured the analysis conducted by the team was
        accurate and the results were summarized for final decision- making.
    Managed consultant, process partners, ROPS manufacturers and Cab manufacturing facilities on various
        Operator station design and procurement projects. Resolved build issues and ensured that the design is
        optimized for cost, quality and on time delivery.
    Assumed responsibilities as a go-to Engineer to resolve field and service issues related to ROPS modification,
        rework, and other changes to customize the customer needs and ensure that the design is not compromised for
        legal certification and avoid warranty claims.
    Assisted the Center of Excellence in evaluation and selection of ROPS and light structure suppliers and
        component supply chain network, and inventory optimization.

Involved in the effective development and management of Cab/Operator station component design, System
integration, generating BOM and work with Vehicle Configuration Engineer to establish SIP and cab location on the
vehicle. Led the design and sourcing effort to reduce component cost by proposing alternate design and material,

investment targets. Supported sourcing and procurement efforts through drawings and specifications review with
internal manufacturing team, obtaining piece part and tooling cost to release purchase orders.
