ACADEMIC PROJECTS:

   Paper Design of a Network.

( University of Texas at Arlington)
For given specifications , bandwidth availability, the number of users , amount and percentage of usage and given network
components designed an optimal network topology and protocols required for that topology .

Multi-Areas OSPF implementation with VLANs and ACLs and Troubleshooting.

    - Simulated multi-area OSPF using 5 routers and 4 switches.
-Understood how the OSPF neighbor relationship is formed.
-Implemented route summarization on ABRs and ASBRs.
-Implemented OSPF authentication schemes, VLANs, Inter-VLAN routing.
    - Implemented Standard and Extended ACLs for router security over IPv4 network.
    - Performed troubleshooting of various problems related to OSPF routing protocol, STP and 802.1Q.

   EIGRP implementation
-Simulated EIGRP on a 3 router corporate network.
    - Implemented EIGRP summary routes for the most efficient route selection.
    - Secured this topology using MD-5 authentication.
-Frame relay p2p configuration was also implemented over this network.
    - Performed unequal (Variance-based) Load balancing on this network.

 Internet of Things (IOT).
( University of Texas at Arlington, April 2016 May 2016)
-Designed an Internet of Things node that has intelligence to send an SMS to the user via internet depending on the triggers
received and the rules set for a particular event.
-The node was designed using ARM cortex M4F and connected to the internet via ENC28j60 Ethernet module. It
implemented TCP to connect to a third party website and submit the form. Also implemented DNS service to get the ip
address of the website. The node also supported others protocols like ICMP for ping, ARP and UDP for internal
communication with the central connecting unit

To study the operation of the interface between a computer and the internet.
( University of Texas at Arlington, April 2016 May 2016)
Identify the steps involved in a computers networking process, examining DNS response. Analyze and follow TCP stream
and trace route from source node to destination node using a Wireshark data collection session
