Verify and check that other s work complied with ASME standards as well as company regulations and policies.
Provide engineering and technical support to mechanics, finance department, and procurement teams.
Lead a team of 7 engineers and drafters on various technical projects.
Identified, investigated, defined scope and calculated Return on Investment calculations of future design projects. Prepared and performed technical presentations to management for project justification.
Independently designed a monolithic casting to replace a built-up design composed of 46 discrete parts. Resulted in improved ergonomics, more than 26% savings on the cost of the component, 12% cost savings on surrounding structure, 12% weight reduction of the surrounding structure, and 86% reduction of assembly time.
