 Improved PISO Algorithms for Modeling Discontinuous Momentum Source in Conjugate Fluid-porous

    Proposed and implemented a resistance redistribution algorithm to remove checkerboarding issue
     caused by discontinuous source of momentum equation while using PISO algorithms.

  Force Production Analysis in the Field of Aerodynamics and Hydrodynamics
     Proposed a novel theory of force production on the deforming body immersed in incompressible ow
      and developed the corresponding numerical model based on a versatile sharp interface immersed
      boundary method (IBM).
  CFD Simulation of Patient Specic Coronary Flow based on 3D CT image
     Utilized c++ open source library (VMTK) to extract the 3D geometry of patient specic coronary
      arteries.
     Expanded c++ open source CFD library based Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM)-Palabos with
      capability of lumped parameter network (LPN) module to evaluate fractional ow reserve (FFR)
      for specic patient.
  Flow-Structure Interaction (FSI) based on IBM CFD Solver
     Developed a 6 Degree of Freedoms FSI module inside the IBM-based CFD solver.
  Numerical Simulation of Aerodynamics in Insect Flight
     The complex ow regime of insect ight is numerically simulated and mathematically analyzed.

      FLUENT with C++ compiled user dened heat transfer model.
  Numerical FSI Analysis of Pulse Jet on Flexible Boundary
     Mesh Generation with ICEM.
     A numerical solution was developed by coupling FEA package ANSYS and CFD software CFX.
  3D Numerical Simulation of Centrifugal Fan
     3D numerical modelling and meshing of centrifugal fan using AutoCAD and GAMBIT.
     3D CFD simulation of centrifugal fan was carried out on FLUENT and discrete aerodynamic noise
      caused by dipole source has been investigated.
