I currently manage the Infrastructure Security team consisting of 32 employees supporting the following security products.
F5, NetScaler, Firewalls (Checkpoint and Cisco ASA s) personal VPN and IPsec tunnels. Our team also supports McAfee Web Gateways, Symantec Web Gateways, Nexpose, Splunk, McAfee/Cisco IPS and SonicWall Supermassive
Major accomplishments
1.After taking over the Infrastructure Security team, I fixed issues with the supported bandwidth of the McAfee Web Gateways by adding additional gateways. This reduced the amount of tickets generated.
2.After taking over the firewall team, I fixed an issue with the concurrent connections acting like a bandwidth enforcer limiting the amount of traffic we could receive from the internet. This reduce a significant amount of tickets as the aggressive aging was being activated due to this bad configuration.
3.After taking over the F5 team I resolved issues with a Nexus switch blade and moved from a 1G interface to a 10G interface to support the 20 MBPS circuit between data centers.
