<p><b>Position Description</b> </p> <ul> <li>Project will be working in the Unemployment Division for Iowa - Open Ended There will be a two weeks of training involved, which the candidate MUST completed.</li> <li> Poor attendance and attention in training will make it very difficult to be successful with those assessments. </li> <li>We are seeking candidates with strong communication skills, experience with customer service and answering a high volume of phone calls.</li> <li>The assignment at IWD includes 2 weeks of classroom training. </li> <li>Attendance is required for the first two weeks of the assignment. </li> <li>The in person training given is what will allow the group to have the tools they need to be able to successfully serve our customers. </li> <li>It is imperative that they attend every day . </li> <li>Additionally, two open note/book assessments will be given to each of them to go over the information learned in training. </li> <li>This is the tool we use to ensure a person retained the information in training. </li> <li>They would be processing paperwork from customers, making phone calls to gather information from customers, working on scanning equipment, sorting paperwork according to document type and reviewing documents for accuracy. </li> <li>The position is very diversified and will need a candidate who can change directions quickly.</li> <li>The department is extremely busy and they need people who are reliable and can keep up. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Skills Required</b> </p> <ul> <li>Clerical projects Phones Customer Service Scanning Making files Filing Researching data</li> <li>These two positions are located in the Unemployment Division for Iowa </li> <li>They would be processing paperwork from customers, making phone calls to gather information from customers, working on scanning equipment, sorting paperwork according to document type and reviewing documents for accuracy. </li> <li>The position is very diversified and will need a candidate who can change directions quickly. </li> <li>The department is extremely busy and they need people who are reliable and can keep up. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Skills Preferred</b> </p> <ul> <li>Typing Data Entry Experience working with the public would be helpful Explain short term positions and breaks in employment </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Experience Required</b> </p> <ul> <li>1 year of office experience on the resume </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Education Required</b></p> High School or GED
