<ul> <li>The Community Services Division Support Specialist will provide data entry support to the Community Services Department. The position will need to be able to analyze spreadsheets and prepare accurate and timely reports on a daily, weekly & monthly basis. </li> <li>Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high volume work environment. ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS (This is not an all-inclusive list of all job duties that may be required; employees will be required to perform other related duties as assigned. List in order of importance.) </li> <li>Provides on-site services, either directly or through community partners </li> <li>Maintains all required electronic records in the program's management information system for their assigned clients, to track status of services. </li> <li>Supports the Program Coordinator in preparing daily, weekly & monthly communication to our agency partners </li> <li>Ability to review documentation submitted to determine if the case file is complete </li> <li>Provides information on community resources, establishes information and referral mechanisms, and provide program enrollment assistance to interested clients including utility discount and food / nutrition programs. </li> <li>Helps to determines eligibility for utility assistance, rental assistance and/or other crisis assistance programs. </li> <li>Enters data into complex agency data systems and completes required case management documentation. </li> <li>Required travel to various locations throughout Maricopa County </li> <li>Completes other tasks or supports multiple programs as assigned to support to goals of the Community Services Department </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Skills Required </b></p> <p><b>Knowledge of:</b> </p> <ul> <li>Ability to interpret data and transfer information among multiple Excel spreadsheets </li> <li>Federal and State regulations and policies related to the governance of various direct emergency service and assistance programs </li> <li>Determining eligibility for an array of public programs with complex eligibility requirements.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Skill in: </b></p> <ul> <li>Establishing and fostering positive working relationships with community partners, subcontractors and staff at all levels </li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, active listening and critical thinking skills </li> <li>Reviewing multi-fund source client applications for eligibility determination. </li> <li>Attention to detail and organizational skills </li> <li>Exceptional customer service </li> <li>Computer use and Microsoft Office products </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Ability to: </b></p> <ul> <li>Design templates for data driven reports </li> <li>Work effectively with minimal supervision </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Skills Preferred </b></p> <ul> <li>Preferred Training, Certifications and/or Other Special Requirements: Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Experience Required </b></p> <ul> <li>2 years in administrative role or office experience On Site work ONLY- NO REMOTE WORK AVAILABLE </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Experience Preferred </b></p> <ul> <li>Preferred Training, Certifications and/or Other Special Requirements: Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English </li> </ul>
