Under limited supervision of more senior engineers, works within a collaborative environment with other engineers, developers, architects, system engineers, and product managers to solve new and existing technical software engineer issues. Design, develop, and modify software and/or software systems by using various programming languages depending on the need of the product. Modify existing software to fix errors, improve overall quality and functionality, and update integrations with other software; analyze user needs to determine how a software should be built or if an existing software could be modified. Develop and/or perform software automated testing procedures, solutions, and frameworks to ensure optimal software functionality. Understand the underlying technical infrastructure of an application/system and provide engineering improvements to the infrastructure, as needed. Troubleshoot advanced performance issues. Provide technical-level-only oversight to junior engineers. Telecommuting permitted.

Location: Multiple, undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelorís* Ė Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related Engineering field of study.
Experience: Three (3)* years in the position above, as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related software application development role.
Experience must include at least one (1) year with each of the following:
1. Performing software development across all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
2. Software development using one or more of the following: Cocoa, Objective C, HTML, .NET, PHP, Java, or Progress.
3. Designing and testing software.
4. Implementing object-oriented software designs with architectural design patterns and constraints.
5. IIS, webservices, XML, or XSL.
*Will accept equivalent foreign degree; will accept a Masterís degree in above fields of study and one (1) year of relevant experience; will also accept any fully equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience.
