Job Duties: Identify and develop technology solutions for clients. Define client needs and develop a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. Design and/or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software, including those from the Salesforce platform. Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites within commuting distance of Slalomís Minneapolis, MN office.

Work with clients to define strategic objectives, business goals, and application features for satisfying business objectives. Based on client strategy and goals, develop a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. Provide expertise during client proposals to estimate the technical level of effort and timeframes appropriate for solution delivery. Translate business requirements into well-architected application solutions that best leverage Salesforce platform capabilities. Must be able to articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality. Will need to work with clients to establish long-term plans around application development and maintenance, including advising clients on skill sets required for client ownership of long-term application support. Must be able to develop quality application solutions that meet client requirements. Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software, including those based on the Salesforce platform. Develop code using Salesforce platform unique technologies such as Apex programming, VisualForce, and Salesforce JavaScript frameworks. Understand and utilize Salesforce platform configuration features wherever possible, including profiles, permission sets, validation rules, flows, page layouts, and assignment rules. Implement new vendor-supplied Salesforce capabilities introduced with each new version of the Salesforce platform. Direct software engineering implementation work for both Slalom staff and client staff, including iterative review & feedback on work products. Design and manage the execution of test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered. Operate as a technical leader for Salesforce projects onsite at client locations. Manage a team of software engineers, providing hands-on, expert-level technical guidance to software developers.

Minimum Requirements: Masterís degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered, or in a technical lead consultant-related occupation. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites within commuting distance of Slalomís Minneapolis, MN office.

Special Requirements:
Position requires at least 8 years of experience in each of the following skills:
1. Experience in delivering large-scale Salesforce platform projects at enterprise clients.
2. Guide clients through requirements gathering and solution design sessions.
3. Create project proposals and cost estimates, including clearly describing decision trade-offs to clients.
4. Conduct oral reviews of solution designs and cost estimates with clients.
5. Configure Salesforce platform using declarative tools, including profiles, permission sets, validation rules, flows, page layouts, assignment rules, and more.
6. Develop and manage applications using Salesforce programming frameworks, including Apex, Visual Force, and JavaScript (Aura & LWC).
7. Experienced in managing, directing and guiding work for junior developer resources.
8. Supervise, review and provide feedback for work products, both documentation and code, prior to submission to client.
9. Document and manage test plans to ensure application build effort is successfully delivered.
10. Significant experience in leading and managing large teams (10+ team members) on enterprise-scale (link removed) implementation projects.
