Job Description/Requirements
REPORTS TO: MANAGING DIRECTOR

JOB PURPOSE:
As our Business Development Manager/strategist, your job is to make the work work. We are all here to makes difference-above and beyond the competition but this is a special role, where-not only will,you keep the company on track but also determine the targets fortilie orgat,ion-and prepare strategies.

There is no one mold for a Gotrack Business Development Manager/strategist. We aim to create an inspiring, ambitious, diverse and entrepreneurial Business Development department. This role has the following expectations:

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Create business development strategies to increase the company revenue and brand value.
Research the market trends to identify the customer demand for the proposed products and services.
Support the management in contract development, customer negotiations and product enhancements.
Keeping updated with technologies and consumer behavior
Craft out differentiation strategy.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Attending conferences and industry events.
Determine key business development KPI's.
Building trust and long-term relationships with clients/customers, industry professionals, competitors, vendors and other personnel.
Contribute to the reputation of the organization by entering and achieving professional awards.
Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand.
Initiate and develop other company selling platforms using technology
Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
Researching prospective accounts in target markets
Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals
Develop and grow the clearing and forwarding arm of the company to profitability
Promote the company's brand and image.
Supervise any branding, brochures and promotional activities of the company
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Actualization of a profitable clearing and forwarding arm of the business. Actualization of a profitable technology-based revenue stream.
Incremental revenues from existing clients
Incremental revenues through upselling from existing clients
Client retention
New clients
Enhanced customer experience
